Tales of the Dead
Follow Skeley, Ghost, and Devil as they seek out treasure. The three enter a nightmare world, as their adventure takes them deeper into the depths of the Dark Forest. There, they’ll find the Castle where the treasure lies. In order to claim it, they’ll have to go through a series of obstacles, enemies, and bosses.
In Tales of the Dead, you'll have the choice of playing as each of the three characters. Each one has their own special ability that makes navigating The Dark Forest and the Castle a little easier. As you progress through the game, you'll encounter different enemies and environments.

The game illustration reminds me of Dark illustrations that show people's struggles with mental illness and disorders Shawn Coss. For narrative purposes, each monster could represent a mental illness, and the skills follow the concept. I really enjoyed the second-level design! very thoughtful and creative!
Love the art style! And the second level kept a good balance between interesting and frustrating. I'm wondering what special skill does the ghost have? It would be fun if ghost can float in the air for a while when it jumps.
The sound effect is really great, but I would love to see more cooperation between each character at level 1. It's great to have a separate track, but it will be nice to have them stand by one another and fight.
I like the vibe you created and every character coexists well with each other. The sound you added works very well and makes the game really immersive to play!
I love the aesthetic of this game. It's very Tim Burton-ish. Both levels and characters were well designed and I appreciate the gameplay difference between each of them.
I just have one question: Is this game competitive or are players expected to help each other? If the second option, why did you make the decision of allowing players to progress when their teammates had died? Also, let's say Skelly died in the first round, why did you decide to spawn him back once we advance the level? I suppose this is a trivial question, but it made me wonder.
